OΔsis Cities will passively exploit nature’s gifts

OΔCities will consume 60-80% less energy per-capita than OBeCities

OΔCities will harvest every drop of rainwater that falls on it

OΔCities will re-cycle and re-use all its waste water

OΔCities will be an ideal platform for solar energy collection

OΔCities will platform wind turbines more unobtrusively than forests of turbines in fields

OΔCities will utilise the waste-heat from homes, offices, shops and light industry

OΔCities will be “zero-waste” – and yes, that includes your potentially very useful No 2’s.

OΔCities will be the ideal platform for every renewable-energy and “green” technology

OΔCities will save the countryside from the ugliness of sprawl housing development

OΔsis Cities will BEAUTIFY and ENHANCE the landscape..!

CARS & SPRAWL, symbiotic civilisational curses, are enormous energy wasters.   Eliminating both would reduce our energy consumption enormously – and liberated commuter slaves would be gifted with an extra 2-3 hours every day..!  That’s like extending your life by up to 20%..!   Why is nobody talking about the role of sprawl in waste, not just waste energy but in WASTED TIME, HIGH HOUSING COSTS, CRIME & VANDALISM and many other social ills, and very likely even the OBESITY epidemic..?

Do we want a new "Birmingham" in the countryside every 3 years..?
Because that is what 300,000 new homes a year is equivalent to. If Birmingham were flattened by an earthquake tomorrow (we can hope, can’t we?) would we rebuild it in a similarly ugly fashion..?

OΔsisCities will conserve our countryside and provide safe sanctuaries for wildlife.

What wildlife?  Ever wondered why you don’t so often see squashed hedgehogs on the road anymore?  Because 95% of them have been slaughtered on the roads..!

OΔsisCities are not just more sensible way of urban living, but more affordable in the long run.
