I include this – presumably AI generated – visualisation because it shows that I am not the only person thinking about pyramidal arcologies.  But have the creators of this – and many similar ones that can be found on Pinterest – invested any thought into the ecological, social, political, and economic possibilities of arcologies?  Most probably the designer just thinks its a “cool-looking” building and hasn’t thought it through any further.  Possibly he got his design cue from “Deltapolis” because he (its almost certainly a “he”) has truncated the apex with an open-roof, although the opening is far too small (in relation to the height) to admit much light.
