End the Vandemic

Who doesn’t hate the proliferation of speeding white vans – not just owner-driven white vans, although they are the worst,  but home delivery vehicles generally?  They always seem to be “right up your backside” on narrow rural roads, and they block the road whilst unloading in illegal and dangerous spots..!

The proliferation of those syrupy “Jane Plan” type of TV ad – “all your delicious meals delivered right to your door every day” – is scandalously wasteful – both in terms of the extra road traffic and the huge quantity of throwaway cartons that such frivolously wasteful “convenience services” generate.  Home deliveries (by vehicle) are a prime example of the many un-necessary and wasteful so-called “industries” which will be rendered totally redundant in Oasis-Cities.
