In 2017 I settled on Oasis Cities as the ideal GENERIC term with which to describe my pyramid-city arcology concept. Because they will, in effect, be oases of tranquility and civilised life and each will be surrounded by a lush nature zone.

[stextbox id=”info”]Emigrating to another country is a huge decision to make – it is very uprooting and very expensive and you will be far from your friends and family. The culture and people are very different – often not in good ways – and if you cannot master the language and culture it may also be very difficult to find a job and/or fit-in. Many Brits who move to Spain, for example, start a small business (usually some kind of pub) and scrape by with much less income than they would have in Britain. And the local customs and politics may turn out to be just as bad, if not MUCH WORSE, than back home. Wouldn’t it be so much better for everyone if it were possible to move to an autonomous community within your own country..? A place with its own charter/constitution – and its own unique character – based on political and social ideas similar to your own, and one wherein you could even play a significant role in further developing those ideas?

POLITICIANS – they are only “doing their job” so why does everyone claim to hate them.? People are frustrated with their lack of power – everyone wants to have their say..! In DP everyone can be as much or as little of a politician as they like ..! But just don’t expect to get a salary..!
ELECTRIC CARS & DRIVERLESS CARS – are distracting us from finding ways to eliminate the need for cars
