“Deltapolis” – a modular Eco-City, a crucible for socio-political change
Some of you will find some – or even all – of my ideas as absurdly idealistic, impossibly utopian, and hopefully even offensive.
The right will accuse me of being “anti-car”, of promoting “Social Engineering” and “Egalitarianism” and even something someone called “Green Marxism”.
The left will accuse me of promoting “Neo-Colonialism” and “Exploitation” of encouraging “Exclusion” and “Segregation” and even (gasp) being “Anti-Diversity”.
And yes, they are all correct, as Deltapolis has the potential to be all of the above or none of them, according to the wishes of the inhabitants.
Deltapolis will be a platform enabling promising, but untried, socio-political concepts to be “road-tested” on a modest scale.
The good ideas will soon become apparent and will drive out the bad ideas.
