“On the TV last night they were talking about an idea like yours..!”.  The idea allegedly “like mine” was the “Shimuzu Mega-City Pyramid” on Discovery Channel’s “Megastructures” programme.  750,000 inhabitants in steel spheres, connected by steel tubes, in a pyramidal formation.  An insane idea if there ever was one but it was presented as a “soon to be built” project.  Aside from being pyramid-shaped it has nothing in common with Oasis Cities.
